Pemberton hires Integrated Geophysical for 3-D 01/17/2007 On receipt of the requisite permits, Pemberton will begin surveying the property in order to begin a 3D seismic shoot of the property. The Company has advanced funds for permitting, land owner permitting fees and surveying. Upon completion of the 3D seismic shoot, the Company’s geological and geophysical team will review the seismic and pick multiple drilling targets. Pemberton has secured a drilling rig with JMAC Drilling Ltd. (www.jmacdrilling.com) and Pemberton expects to begin drilling as soon as the targets are prioritized and selected. Pemberton is also pleased to announce that further to the news release dated June 1, 2006 the Company has now signed binding Petroleum and Natural Gas Lease and Grant Agreements to lease the subsurface mineral rights in the Peace River Arch Area from surface to basement. Pemberton will retain 82% beneficial interest over a term of 3 years on 320 acres. These mineral right leases have been paid in full in accordance to the lease agreement terms .The Company will assume 100% of the drilling and completion costs of the well, inclusive of all operating, processing, transportation and production costs. This property acquisition is in the immediate vicinity of Pemberton’s key holdings in the Peace River Arch Area. This acquisition gives Pemberton a sizable land position in a very productive region of the Peace River Arch.
