PEMBERTON CLOSES FINANCING April 1, 2008 Pemberton Energy Ltd. wishes to announce that the private placement which was accepted for filing by the TSX Venture Exchange on March 14, 2008, has closed on March 26, 2008. Pemberton Energy has issued 3,960,000 flow through units at $0.25 per unit consisting of one flow through share and one flow through warrant entitling the holder to purchase an additional flow through share for a period of one year at $0.35 and 3,000,000 non flow through units consisting of one non flow through share and one non flow through warrant allowing the holder to purchase an additional non flow through share for a period of one year at $0.35. In respect of any shares issued or issuable pursuant to the foregoing securities, a hold period with an expiry date of July 27, 2008 applies The company has paid $37,600.00 and 230,800 common shares finder’s fee on the private placement. In respect of any shares issued pursuant to the foregoing securities, a hold period with an expiry date of July 27, 2008 applies. Pemberton has raised $1,740,000.00 through the private placement that closed on March 26, 2008 and $260,000.00 in the first part of the private placement that closed on December 27, 2007. In respect of any securities issued or issuable pursuant to the 2007 flow through $260,000.00 financing with a closing date of December 27, 2007 a hold period with an expiry date of April 29, 2008 applies.
