Pemberton’s 3D identifies first 5 shallow gas targets with a possibility of having stacked pay

June 4, 2007   Calgary, Alberta, (TSX.V:PBT, FSE :P5W)  Pemberton Energy Ltd. is pleased to announce the first of its 3D interpretation results have been received. Shallow horizons are being interpreted first and a series of channel sand complexes have been identified in the Gething Formation of Cretaceous Age at an approximate depth of 3,300 ft. (1000 m.). These channel complexes are commonly found to be reservoir traps in the Peace River Arch and there is Gething gas production and shows in the immediate area of Pemberton 3D seismic.

Pemberton’s seismic interpretation team has identified to date 5 shallow gas targets in the Gething Formation with a possibility of having stacked pay directly underneath. Interpretation of this and a number of potentially productive deeper horizons is ongoing. The Company will be announcing its results from the top to bottom horizon sequence as new interpretation results become available.

Pemberton Energy’s Ltd.  principal business is the acquisition, exploration and development of petroleum properties. The company continues to focus on its primary corporate objective: the creation of value for shareholders by identifying oil and gas accumulations with relatively low geological risk but with substantial reserve potential.
